Carpet Drying
Carpet washing plants: next-day delivery even in winter, without backlog, yellowing or mould.
The problem
Drying is the longest and riskiest step in carpet washing. Outdoor drying stops in winter; a stove-heated room does not remove the moisture, so carpets stay warm and damp. Waiting carpets yellow, smell of mould and customers get their orders late.
The solution
In a closed, insulated drying room a Mareşal machine condenses the moisture in the air on a cold surface, drains it as water and circulates dry, warm air back between the carpets. Carpets hung at night are ready for delivery in the morning; colours stay bright, no odour forms and no order waits through the winter season.
Room layout
- Hangers are spaced tightly with an open air corridor; the back of the machine is kept away from the wall.
- The room takes no outside air; ceiling, floor and walls are insulated (see Drying Room Guide).
- Capacity is chosen by room size and daily carpet volume; from the M400 to the M800 PLUS there is a model for every scale.

Installation and use
The installation and operating points from the data sheets. Pass the electrical items to your electrician.
For your electrician 3 items
- Connect the power supply to phases R-S-T-N.
- Never run the machine on a plug. Install a 32 A or 40 A three-pole fuse outside the room and feed the machine from there with a 4×5 cable.
- On start-up, the phase protection relay must show ON and AUT. If ON blinks and AUT stays off, swap the phase order on the supply line.
Installation and use 6 items
- Keep at least 40 cm between the back of the machine and the wall.
- Never operate without the dust filter; clean it regularly.
- Clean the rear radiator coils once a week.
- In winter, start the machine at around +15 °C room temperature.
- Do not change the factory settings.
- Electrical and mechanical parts may only be serviced by authorised personnel.
